چکیده
Abstract We examine the impacts of time-delay and phase shift between two acoustic driving forces on vibrational resonance (VR) phenomena in oscillations a spherical gas bubble. Using approximate method direct separation motions, we obtain equation slow motion response amplitude, validate theoretical predictions with numerical simulations. find that amplitude system at lower frequency varies periodically respect to shift. When consists an even number periods, it can be optimized enhance system’s relevant parameter space high-frequency force. In addition enhancement VR peak by variation shift, our results show also plays significant role bubble’s dual-frequency fields. It exploited either suppress drastically, or modulate, peaks, thereby controlling resonances. Our analysis shows further cooperation component waves induce multiple These could potentially control ultrasonic cleaning processes varying presence shifted waves. Moreover, employed achieve improved accuracy biomedical diagnosis tumour therapy, as well for targeted delivery reagents transported within bubbles.

متن کاملComparison of Gilmore-Akulichev equation and Rayleigh-Plesset equation on therapeutic ultrasound bubble cavitation
The inertial cavitation of bubble clouds has been considered to be the hidden crucial mechanism for recent new therapeutic ultrasound applications such as Histotripsy and the ultrasound drug delivery. Although many models are already put forward to simulate the cavitation process, due to the inaccessible experimental validation, which model works closest to the real world situation is not well ...
متن کاملShock-Induced Bubble Collapse versus Rayleigh Collapse
This paper compares two physical mechanisms for the collapse of a bubble near a rigid wall: a traveling shock-induced collapse and a Rayleigh-like collapse due to a uniform rise of the pressure around the bubble. A multi-material compressible flow solver capable of handling material interfaces under high pressures is used to investigate these two scenarios for different levels of the driving pr...

The results of analytical study of vibrational resonance (VR) occurring in overdamped bistable system driven by two periodic signals with very different frequencies are presented. Approximate solutions for responses at the low-frequency as a function of the amplitude, and the frequency of the additional high frequency modulation which describe well the main features of vibrational resonance are...
متن کاملComparison of the Rayleigh–Plesset and Gilmore Equations and Additional Aspects for the Modelling of Seismic Airgun Bubble Dynamics
Seismic airguns are commonly used in geophysical exploration. More recently, they are also being used as an alternative to underwater explosions for the shock testing of defence vessels. The study of the dynamics of the bubble produced by a seismic airgun is beneficial in understanding the resultant pressure field and shockwave. The Rayleigh–Plesset and Gilmore equations for modelling spherical...
